The Lenni, which is derived from the name Millennium, is a smaller, more economical version of the longarm machine that it is named after. Although the two models share many similar features, there is one major difference. While most longarm quilting machines cost between $14,000 and $18,000, the Lenni sells for only $9,900. "Longarm quilting is one of the fastest growing segments of the quilting market. We decided to take our 25 years of experience in quality manufacturing and stitch regulation technology, and put it in a machine that everybody can afford," said Dawn Cavanaugh, APQS's National Director of Education. A little smaller than the Millennium, the 34-pound Lenni sits on a 10 foot table that can easily be disassembled and stored in five foot sections.
